We screen handyman and cleaning providers that you book and pay for directly through the On Demand Cleaning Service platform.

✓ Pre-Screenings Potential providers must provide detailed personal and/or corporate information and validate their home service experience.

✓ In-Person Interviews and Skills Assessment Conduct face-to-face interviews with potential cleaners. During the interview, candidates demonstrate their cleaning techniques and knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.

✓ Reference Checks Request and verify references from previous employers or clients to confirm the candidate's work history, reliability, and quality of service.

✓ Trial Period Implement a trial period where cleaners work under supervision for a specified time to evaluate their performance, reliability, and ability to follow company protocols.

✓ Training Programs and Certification Require cleaners to undergo a training program that includes both theoretical and practical components. Upon completion, they receive certification that attests to their competence.

​

✓ Personality and Aptitude Tests Administer personality and aptitude tests to assess traits like attention to detail, reliability, and customer service skills. These tests can help predict how well a candidate will perform in the role.

✓ Background Check for Individual Professionals As part of our screening, a background check is performed on professionals who sign up to use On Demand Cleaning Service in their individual capacity. The background check is performed by Checkr, an accredited third-party background check provider. Checkr’s search includes national, state, and county databases stretching back at least 7 years, and longer in certain jurisdictions. The purpose of these checks is to identify offenses that may disqualify potential professionals from using On Demand Cleaning Service.

✓ Health and Safety Compliance Ensure that cleaners are knowledgeable about health and safety regulations. Require them to complete training on the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and proper use of equipment.

✓ Ongoing Performance Reviews Conduct regular performance reviews with cleaners to provide feedback, address any issues, and recognize outstanding performance. This helps maintain high standards and motivates employees.

✓ Community Involvement and Background Checks In addition to formal background checks, involve the community in the vetting process. Check if the candidate has been involved in community activities or volunteer work, which can be indicative of their character and reliability.
